Carl's Self-interview
Based from the classic Knightly News"posts", (which I never read due to excession of Vacation Mode, while the Knightly News was posted) and the older The Noble Times:

It's
Carl's Self-interview!

The Interview in Two Segments

Knightly News Edition:
How long have you been playing Knights of Noblemen?
I can't remember: I was about 10 or 11 when I started playing this game. Actually, with the 2625 at this date was posted, I played this game for about 7 years. At the beginning I never contributed much to the Knights of Noblemen community and only did what a normal player does, make Silver, level higher (slowly).

What has your best interest in the game so far?
Before the new layout, nothing special. After the new layout, and Artisan Skills, money making and battling in all forms. I am playing this game to raise my confidence and attempt to develop some kind of online mastery.

Who is your most favorite person in game?
No favoritism, but...

...nobody. I have to do some exploration to do as such.

What are the alliances you have been to, and which has been your favorite?
There was only one alliance before I went to the Last Castle? If anyone heard of an alliance called "Apocalypse" (if I remembered), I was kicked out of that for an unknown reason. Then after some time, I joined The Last Castle because of boredom and my low level. After, with some help, the alliance gave me everything I need to succeed in this online game.

I have no favoritism on alliances, unfortunately.

Did you ever have to have help in the game? Or have you had someone help you in the past?
No one. I have to remember first, (keep out for edits in this part!)

I welcome anything in this Meeting Board, though!

Do you like Knights of Noblemen better now, with the new updates or before?
I missed the old format. I would've never done this interview if not for the changes en-masse. I loved the old mining.

Though, I love jousting, as I am an enthusiast on medieval culture.

If you were to have any Staff position, what would it be and why?
By my conditions, I could be a Moderator, because the forums in quite in a tension-related problem and there are no Moderators around.

I am welcome for any encouragement for other Staff places, though.

How long do you plan on playing KoN?
I don't know, but, as long as I remain in synchronization with the online game's performance, as in: this game still exists in the future.

-----

The Noble Times Edition:
How did you find KoN?
Some online site I can't remember. While I was playing older online games, I unexpectedly found Knights of Noblemen through an advertisement. When I clicked it, there were three knights, all in shining armour. Two men, one woman. One of the men was in humility.

What was your first impression of KoN?
A text-based game. That is the first impression.

What was the first alliance you joined and what was your experience with them?
There was this alliance called "Apocalypse" which I never explored after I joined it. Later, I was kicked out for unknown reasons.

Therefore, later, I joined The Last Castle for some purpose. The Last Castle was my "permanent" estate (no offense), which developed my social experiences.

Has there been someone who really helped you out in the world of KoN and if yes, can you tell us about it?
I can't remember anyone, but feel free to talk out in the Messenger if you remember any pasts with me.
(look out for edits in this question!)

Do you experience KoN as an addictive game and why?
Addictive?! Absolutely not!
Knights of Noblemen is a text based game (Warning: the following may have conflicting arguments, perhaps.), which is about teaming with Knights (or mercenaries, in the past), jousting with rivals, fight beasts in the forests, and socializing.

What addictions would I expect here? (look out for edits!)

Do you miss something or someone that was here in Knights of Noblemen and isnt now?
I don't know anyone. Please feel free to use the Messenger if you know about my past. (look out for edits!)

Who is your favourite person ingame and why that person?
Actually, I have no favoritism on any person in the game.

What do you dislike the most in Knights of Noblemen?
I don't have any dislike at the moment, probably. (look out for edits!)

...but feel free to use the Messenger if you know any of my personal dislikes.

What would you change or add in Knights of Noblemen?
I recommend going to the Suggestions Board.

I would like to alter the entire game, though, but it requires good players and developers to do so. (look out for edits)

What do you think of the game as it is now compared as it was when you started?
The game is in decline. There used to be many players around chatting and battling. Where are they now? But feel free to use the Messenger if you want to give me memories that I have been on thy side at any past. (look out for edits!)

Stop saying the game is in decline.....You are always Welcome to invite real life friends to join Carl

If you spent as much time in the battle arena as you do complaining about how we are in decline you could make it to the top 100 in no time

How about this Rylan...
There ARE all of those folks here (except perhaps for the manager) but what exactly are we supposed to be doing when there isn't much going on???

And I am going to make a suggestion...we need a 'like' button similar to FB.

Oh wait...I need to do that on another board. Okay...going there now.

And right Wedge!! I like your post...where IS that button??

What do you dislike the most in Knights of Noblemen?
The occasional off-topicking only in topic-related forums, such as from my former suggestions of Elite weapons and Replacing Holy and Evil

The interesting thing is that neither of those threads have
In the first one you started a joke thread with mad and pointless suggestions and others have chipped in with their equally mad and just as pointless contributions. In the second you started talking about good and evil and, apart from a brief discursion on whether threatening to delete people's posts when you have no power to do so was within the game rules, the conversation has stayed firmly on topic.

Now some of you are going off-topic at this point. You're right, RR, there are signs of on-topic places but there are times Noblemen get carried away by off-topics.

Now what else should I add to the edits?

You could include an edit about how you feel that the slightest deviation from the topic should be punished to the fullest extent allowable

Maybe...
Carl should write an edit to say that after the date of that edit there would be no further edits.
This would, I think, fulfill the requirement of halting the editing process without creating a recursive edict that applied to itself.
Recursive edicts - now there's an idea Ben could work on...

Entirely on-topic
This discussion has naturally turned from scientific belly-button observation to the meta-cognitive field of self-reference.
Now the question is only whether our self-referential conversation is sufficiently self-referential. This post, for instance seems to lack adequate self-reference and should therefore be struck out.
