2. Read First / Smilie and Colour Guide
Read First
This thread introduces you to sources that will answer your question before asking it.

Many gamers think they can walk in a game and play it as if they already master it. Instead of posting your question in the board, you can spend the same time skimming this thread.

A New Player Guide is findable at the top of the Help page, which will take only 30 minutes of reading. Less if you're reading it with full attention. You will find the Frequently Asked Questions area there.

Our apology for the redirection being a little confusing. Just click 'Help' in the menu to your left, and click 'Continue...' next to New Player Help Guide in the newly appeared page. Improvement has been suggested.

Your question may be a so-called 'Strategy Question'. This question type may start a discussion about what would be the best thing to do. Answers to these questions should be findable in an alliance's forum or through your own gaming experience in Knights of Noblemen.

Your question may also be a 'Spoiler Question'. An answer to this question will give out research made, concerning prices for items, passes, mines etc. which is no fun answering in public. The answer will be mailed to you and your thread will be deleted.

Just like a regular message board, the Help Board needs a little cleaning as well. Most questions are individual questions, however useful information will be archived by [Rhodan] (12).

If you really do need more, you can follow this URL: [http://www.webmonkey.com/webmonkey/reference/color_codes/].

You can also do hex codes such as these:

#EE0000
#EE3800
#E17A01
#EEC400
#FAEB00
#B6FF05
#50E101
#00FA93
#05FFD3
#01E195
#01D4E1
#0097EE
#0185E1
#0540FF
#7B05FF
#B000FA
#CE00FA
#FA00F7
#E1018F
#EE007B

To use a color (Blue in this example) simply put [c=blue]word/sentence[/] just like here inside the brackets. It should look like this ---> word/sentence

Of course, instead of blue, you can use #0000FF as it will result in blue as well.

The color tag should be the most inner tag when using the Bold, Italic and/or Underscore tags as well, or the result will be no success.

About smilies and Colors
When writing and using the tags of the codes, it is not like for example Msn, where the smilie appears after you wrote the code. You will not see the result before you post, edit or send the message. You may practice using the codes by sending a message to yourself. If you will post for practicing, please delete your thread after understandment of using the tags.
