how to increase enduarance
Roosters can get up to 400 max. endurance. After 200 max. endurance, they gain 1 max endurance a day from doing all their battles.

You can store up to 3 days worth of endurance (6x your max endurance) at once before you don't get any more, so use your endurance at least every 3 days,

Building up your Endurance is an important part of getting a powerful rooster that can earn you plenty of Gold. It's up to you when you want to swap between training up endurance as quickly as you can, and earning Gold from better targets. Since you can have more than one rooster, I would suggest you might want to wait longer with some of them, but attack earlier with others, to get a mixture of short-term and long-term gains.

Best Wishes,
-Ben

Stamina
Gains are affected by your average stat divided by the stat you are training (amongst other factors)

So a higher average stat, increases your gains in all areas, so having more stamina - or any other stat - would increase your gains accordingly in all other areas. Except Stamina itself which would get less, of course.

Stamina: 20
Strength: 15
Speed: 10

Average: 15

Stamina gains from training would be 15/20 = 3/4 = 25% lower than a rooster with even stats.

Speed gains would be 15/10 = 3/2 = 50% higher than a rooster with even stats.

(This isn't an effect of high stamina - it's an affect of high average!)

Basically, your lowest stats will train the fastest,

Best Wishes,
-Ben

How to battle
In the menu on the left hand side of your screen click on ''Rooster Arena''.

A new screen will appear with a number of options. To fight - click on ''Battle with your Roosters''.

Once you've done that select your rooster and select either ''Show Attackable'' or do and ''Advanced Search'' to find your targets.

Then start fighting.

What do the 3 rooster stats do?
Strength = How much ammount of damage your chook does each time he lands a hit

Agility = Having it higher your chooken can avoid being hit

Stamina = If battles go on for a while this will keep dealing the same ammount of damage rather than it slowly dwindling with each hit.

As for which to train, that's entirely up to you. You'll work out what you need more of from battling people.

Can we save forest steps for long?
We can't save attacks for battling noblemen, but what about "Forest" and "Rooster Arena"? I fear if I leave them unbattled, there might be an upper limit.

Everything is 6 resets (or 3 days). Forest, Battles, Rooster endurance, Merc Barracks Endurance and Mines.

I have noticed that my roosters no longer earn .04 endurance for each win...when was it reduced? Why?

once you pass 40 endurance it starts dropping in order to allow players to catch up with others roosters.

I notice throughout the day my rooster's endurance gets higher and higher... what is the hourly rate at which endurance is restored?

Every 20 minutes 1/72 of your rooster's max endurance is renewed.

What is the best ratio to have for roosters at the high end?
2:1:1 for str/agi/sta or something like that?

I haven't been here for nearly a year, as today marks the first time I've logged in since.... that being said, there use to be some absolutely wonderful tutorials On rooster training. Ive noticed Ive gone down in the rankings a bit ,but honestly considering I haven't touched my roosters for a year, their still holding their Own damn Well. If I can get back in tune with the game and play around for a bit I will write up a tutorial from my experiences. This is all variable according to what is the same and what is different since the last time i Played though. I'm not sure if the old tutorials are available in the forums still or not but if so I'm Sure they are Still very relevant to your needs. and Would still work Fantastic.

this is a most perplexing facet of the game. there seems to be a rather high random (or luck) factor involved as some of my obviously far superior roosters regularly lose to roosters my others don't ever even lose a hit point to. i believe this random factor can be mostly overcome if your stats are significantly higher than your victim, but never wholly eliminated. i would advise that you train your stats fairly equally in respect to str and agi keeping perhaps a 10 -1 ratio between them and stamina, but keep in mind numbers are important if other rooster runners are active you may never fully overcome them; but, with the high random factor you will be able to defeat them with increased frequency. that's all i have to offer hope it helps[ wave ]

Agility acts exactly like Speed does in Mercenary battles.

Every attack you make that does damage reduces your roosters 'effort' by a multiplier that depends on your roosters stamina. High stamina, means 'effort' reduces less with each successful attack.

Damage dealt is directly multiplied by 'effort'.

Interesting.
Does more strength mean effort is decreased faster?

nice catch nuzz, that is what appears to be being said off-handedly, though just how much effect "effort" has is not being stated just it's effect relative to stamina. i am far from an expert here but would suggest you wait until you are above 200 endurance to really increase stamina above a 1-10 ratio, and instead concentrate on raising your str and agi above the 5000 threshhold

No, effort decreases only with Stamina.

Strength, Strength, and more strength. You don't need anything else if your strength is high enough IMO. I can;t remember the last time I ever trained Stamina. It's a fairly worthless stat as is speed in mercenaries.

Strength is more valuable in roosters than it is in mercenaries, since in roosters it still decides defense too... But still, I'm inclined to agree with Dandin, it's valuable,
